“Il crotto” enjoys a privileged position, you can easily reach the historic centre to plunge in the Bellagio’s life, between stores and shops, bar and restaurants...
or you can relax in the garden, away from the confusion of the centre.

Our apartments are in the hamlet of San Giovanni, a small fishing village 1,5 kmfrom the centre. We are in a sunny and quiete location, few metres from the lake and from the free beach, from the harbour, from the park and the Naval Museum.

Less than 5 minutes walking can be reached: the grocery store, the restaurant “Mella” and the characteristic restaurant “Alle Darsene di Loppia”, where to taste fresh fish lake. The bus stop, the boat station and a turistic train are few metres far.

You can reach the historic centre of Bellagio by bus or by car; from Easter to October you can also reach it by boat or with the turistic train. By feet you can take a pleasant walk: from San Giovanni, continuing on the road you reach the small harbour of Loppia, from here you can walking on the lake side immersed in the green of the beautiful gardens of Villa Melzi, which take you directly in the centre! (the gardens are open from Easter to October).
