Visit Varenna: go shopping in the small village, climb up to the castle of Vezio to admire the raptors’ training, and at the end eat an ice cream walking on the "way of love". A look at Menaggio, Cadenabbia and Tremezzo. 
Take a hike in the upper lake until the pond of Piona and visit the famous abbey.

In Lecco and near you can follow the history of Alessandro Manzoni and of his masterpiece “The Betrothed”. In Como the protagonist is Alessandro Volta, to which are dedicated museums, arts and monuments.
